New Paintings and Furniture by Miles Bishton
Bishton is interested by the human figure and it’s relationship with the architecture it inhibits. His paintings often suggest an event, an occurance, with an open door, a blowing curtain, but it’s up to the viewer to decide what has happened. His furniture also has an element if intrigue, with chest of drawers built so that they lean at uncomfortable, yet delightful angles.
