This training is for anyone running or thinking of starting a creative project or enterprise that needs funding or finance.

The training will cover:

• How to plan a fundraising strategy
• Identifying the best funding sources for your project
• How to write a successful funding application

The training will be run by Adrian Court, a producer, choreographer, visual artist and successful fundraiser

The party is open to creative people living or working in Rugby and surrounding areas including:
Actors and performing artists, Musicians, Dancers, Film and TV Professionals, Photographers, Writers and Poets, Designers, Visual Artists, Live Artists and Craft practitioners.

MILTON KEYNES ARTY PARTY
The Social for Creative People from Milton Keynes

Tuesday 9th December 2008, 6pm - 8pm @ The Function Room, Eaglestone Restaurant, Milton Keynes Hospital, Milton Keynes, MK6 5LD

Are you an actor, performing artist, musician, dancer, photographer, film-maker, writer, poet, designer, visual artist, live artist, designer-maker or any other kind of creative person? Then come along to our next Arty Party!

The Arty Party is a way of meeting other people and organisations working in the creative and cultural scene locally. Whether you want to share ideas, share contact details or simply enjoy the party – we’d love to see you there! The party will be hosted by MK Arts for Health who are based at MK Hospital.

A display board and table will be available on the night: bring along an example of your work no larger than A5 size (printed copies, photographs or postcards) and attach it to the board. You are also welcome to leave postcards or business cards with your details for other attendees to take away.

Food, Drink and Entertainment!
We are pleased to present a performance by Flamenco Guitarist Tomas Jimenez-Pulido.

Getting there and parking:
The Eaglestone Restaurant is situated on the ground floor in the centre of the hospital next to the central courtyard. When you arrive at the Hospital go to the main reception and follow signs to the restaurant. Car parking for visitors to Milton Keynes Hospital is either pay and display in the open air car parks or pay on exit from the multi-storey car park. There are over 500 public parking spaces on the site. Parking for up to 4 hours costs £2. Please remember to bring change if you are driving.

With support from Creative Bucks, Arts4Every1 is hosting a free business advice event from stART. The event features presentations, FREE 10-minute consultancy chats, and opportunities for a FREE, one-to-one, 1 hour session, at a future date.
