Arty Party ~ Creative and Cultural Alchemy

Thursday 2nd October 2008, 6pm - 8pm @ The Barn Gallery, Artworks-mk, Great Linford Arts Workshop, Parklands, Great Linford, MK14 5DZ

stArt, Inter-Action MK, Milton Keynes Gallery, Milton Keynes Theatre, Adult Continuing Education, MK Arts for Health and artworks-MK are pleased to be hosting the second ‘Arty Party’, this time around featuring Big Draw activities.  Based on the theme of ‘Creative and Cultural Alchemy’, the event is open to creative people from Milton Keynes and surrounding areas including:

•    Actors and performing artists
•    Musicians
•    Dancers
•    Film and TV Professionals
•    Photographers
•    Writers and Poets
•    Designers
•    Visual Artists
•    Live Artists
•    Craft practitioners

Come along and mingle with other creatives whilst engaging your creativity through the Alchemy style Big Draw activities, try out DIY mixology, or simply come along and enjoy the party!

Share What You Do!

In order to showcase attendees’ work, a display board will be available on the night: bring along an example of your work no larger than A5 size (printed copies, photographs or postcards) and attach it to the board. You are also welcome to leave postcards or business cards with your details for other attendees to take away.

Food, Drink and Entertainment!

Live acoustic sets from special guests will be taking place throughout the evening.

There will be plenty of food and drink available.

Book a Surgery Session!

There will be an opportunity to book a speed surgery with stArt - a 10-minute advice session on whatever questions you may have around developing your practice or creative business. You can book when you rsvp for the party, or do so on the night (subject to availability).
