This training will help get your work out there and to the attention of promoters, agents, galleries, labels, and more.
Whatever work your produce, it is vital to find a strategy to get it out into the public eye, whether you do this directly or via a third party who will represent and market your work. This training will help you with the following:

• How to approach them
• What to approach them with
• How to make your work stand out from the rest
• How to follow up, get feedback and expand your network

The Business of Music - promoting, protecting and presenting your work (start / the stables)

- A one-day workshop focusing on the music industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone working in the music industry including musicians, singer/songwriters, DJs and those promoting and managing musicians or music events. Attendees will come away with a strategy for promoting, protecting and presenting their work.
Presented by start, the business advice service for creative people and businesses in Milton Keynes. start is pleased to be working with The Stables, Milton Keynes’ premier live venue, to run this workshop. Staff from the Stables will be on hand at lunchtime to answer any questions you might have on approaching music venues.
The training is free but booking is essential as places are limited.
